Meet Zaharah Valentine

Zaharah Valentine is a Leadership Coach & Educational Consultant. As a coach and consultant, she brings over fifteen years of experience to her work and has received rigorous educational training and preparation on both a national and international level. Prior to becoming an administrator, she served as a certified special education instructor. Eventually transitioning into leadership, Zaharah served as a school principal, and was appointed as a transformational administrator by the Baltimore City Public School system. Zaharah has not only transformed the school communities in which she has served, but she has also worked alongside students, parents, community stakeholders, teachers, and principals across the nation – coaching and guiding them to transform their school climate and culture to support urban school students with a more culturally competent lens.

As a result of her authentic, heart-led teaching and leadership style, Zaharah has been twice nominated for the BCPSS Heart of The School Award. In 2020, she was one of five principals to win the Heart of The School Award, after being nominated alongside 165 other district leaders. Today, Zaharah coaches and trains executive-level leaders and continues to advocate for scholars across the district of Baltimore.
